An original oil painting on canvas by Anne Harkness. A city at night is often so stunning. It can appear just like a hand full of jewels tossed onto a piece of black velvet. Even in darkness there can be beauty. Lines crisscross throughout this painting. The structures were built using lines and I kept them in the painting. To further emphasise the love of lines, I laid thicker lines on the canvas for surprise and intrigue. Somehow they all work together to bedazzle the city with light and sparkle.
