Anne Harkness Racing the Sun_ copy.jpg

Racing The Sun

$3,491.00

Wide Open describes something fully unfastened, completely unobstructed, or having no limits. This is what these boaters are experiencing. Plus, when in the middle of the water at sunset, one is surrounded by color and glory. They seem to be trying to take it all in before night falls. The speed, the exhileration, and the colors have heightened their senses. From one half minute to the next, the sky changes and the light show peeks, finally yielding to darkness and rest.

This is an original, one of a kind, oil painting by Anne Harkness that is 24H × 60W × 1.5”.
