Boating has moments of grandeur. This happens when sunlight is splintered through moving water creating shifting ribbons of bright and often altered colors. We see it after a rain, during sunsets, or on surfaces of the water. The colors are so “out of this world” that we simply can’t believe them. It is a joy for me, as an artist to observe and replicate these moments and phenomenas in paint.
