While out in the boat with my husband, we came upon a marina that I had forgotten. But, sure enough all the sailboats were moored and waiting for the wind to pick up. The dead of summer brings with it no wind and plenty of promise for those rare windy exceptions. We even long for the breeze to pick up and drive away the thick summer heat. But, autumn is next and the wind will return.
This is a one of a kind oil painting by Anne Harkness. It is a framed 19H x 26”W painting.
