I frequent a farmers market called Joshes Market, in Mooresville, NC. I asked permission to paint on the premises. and captured the sights before it got busy. Saturday mornings are bustling with the younger and older patrons milling around with smiles on their faces. Baskets were being filled with gorgeous oranges, gourds, bouquets, and stick candy, with pimento cheese spread and cow fresh milk in glass bottles.
Just walking through the wide open doorways stimulates my taste buds. It stimulates me visually with all of its bright produce. You are allowed to touch the newly harvested fruit and vegetables displayed in baskets and bins. The baked goods are mouth watering and the flowers were newly cut earlier today. Each offering has been lovingly and proudly grown or created by the hands of the farmers, bakers or builders. Give yourself a treat and head on over to Joshes.
