Together Together

Although nearly half of the painting is blue, and could be considered abstract, it seems a pleasing balance for the two chairs, which face it.

As I think about these chairs, I imagine that they are conversing and eager to be together. It reminds me of when two people are so excited to be together that one is on the edge of their seat, eagerly listening and interrupting. The joy and intimacy is obvious. Or maybe, these two are simply laid-back chatting and letting the sunlight shine down on them, at will. The colors outside and on the floor draw me into the mix of light bouncing from chair to chair.
