Celebrating The Hidden

'Backstreet #2' is celebrating the underpinnings of a painting. In the Renaissance, the old masters used mathematics to map out their paintings before they painted them. I enjoy the play between the hidden and the surface paint.

I am inviting the viewer to see the lines and intersections underneath, to see the inside mechanics, along with the surface of the image, and enjoy the play between them both. Enjoy.
